Verifier-trained RL lifts code verification; energy studies profile inference costs

The largest gain was +27.4 points on held-out DafnyBench verification from UC Berkeley and Qwen, using formal verifiers as RL rewards across 1.7B–35B MoE models. Two papers by Boris Ruf and Marcin Detyniecki measured inference energy, one finding 8.9× better tokens per joule with PagedAttention on A100s. Meta reported 1.3× multi-node throughput from automated distributed-training tuning at 235B–671B MoE scale; none of the eight papers released code or weights.
